As individuals age, the need for skilled nursing oversight increases with the onset or continuation of certain medical conditions such as dementia, heart disease, COPD, stroke and diabetes. Under the care of a treating physician, Pine View Care Center provides skilled nursing services by licensed nurses on a 24/7 basis. Just some of the specific services they provide include:

Pain management
Medication management
IV feeding assistance

In addition, therapy staff are available to assist if your level of functioning declines. Regardless of your need, our goal is to make a transition to a long-term Skilled Nursing Facility as seamless as possible. My parents moved into Pine View Terrace almost a year ago. The apartment is well laid out and accessible for their needs, especially mom who has more mobility issues. The staff are very caring and responsive to their needs. Its especially nice that there is now 24 hours in house staff. Wendy, the administrator, is available when questions arise and follows up quickly with any concerns. There are activities planned monthly to provide socialization with other residents. All of us kids, all 7 of us, are happy that mom and dad are being watched over and not alone in their house anymore. It gives us peace of mind.
